Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC)

RSLDC is a Government of Rajasthan enterprise established in order to address the challenges of unemployment. It aims to ensure gainful and sustainable employment by formulating appropriate and innovative strategies for the poor and vulnerable people of Rajasthan state. AIILSG is implementing its ambitious Employment Linked Skills Training Program (ELSTP) in Jaipur and Kota. The objective of this program is to train the youth from the economically weaker sections of society and help them with exploring wage/ self-employment opportunities within and outside the state. AIILSG is implementing its ambitious Jharkhand Skill Development Mission (JSDM) through its state of art centres in Madhupur and Ranchi in Jharkhand with the aim of training more than 15,000 youth as training provider.

International Skill Conclave 2018- A Future Roadmap

With strong belief that the only way to eradicate the unemployment and underemployment from India and economic development of the youth, underprivileged and specially women is by technical education and industrial training through skill development initiative, All India Institute of Local Self-Government (AIILSG) is organizing the “International Skill Conclave: Future Roadmap 2018” on 5th May 2018 in Juniper Hall at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The Conclave is supported by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Shri K.P. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, will grace the Conclave as the Guest of Honour. The Conclave is expected to witness more than 200 delegates from across the globe.

The unique event is designed to inspire the participants and provide them with a 360 degree perspective on Skill Development with a host of exciting panel and round table discussions on the subject.

AIILSG, with its 90 years of excellence, shall host the country’s brightest minds who would divulge the nuances of Skill Development required in the present globally competitive scenario. The event shall supplement our efforts to create and nurture an ecosystem emanating great sense of workmanship, competitiveness and responsibility.

We at AIILSG strongly believe that skilled manpower and industries play the key role in the development of any country. AIILSG is actively participating in the creation of skilled manpower pool across the country for the last nine decades and is completely aligned with the vision of Skill India Mission. Our Government has launched many ambitious projects like Smart Cities Mission, Solid Waste Management and Skill India Mission in order to achieve the developmental goal. However, there is a need to analyse the gap in skilled and employable manpower considering the new technologies we are implementing or proposed for future implementation. In the given scenario, we need to prepare a road-map for future which can help all of us to bridge the gap of supply vs demand of skilled manpower. We should bring all knowledge bases, good practices, new technologies together globally to create a sustainable platform which can be used to identify the need and prepare skilled resources accordingly.
